SPH to acquire Luxury-Insider.com
Singapore, 1 September 2014 – Singapore Press Holdings Limited (SPH) today announced that its subsidiary SPH Magazines will acquire Luxury-Insider.com, Asia's most established and leading luxury website, from WhiteWave Media Group (WWMG), a regional luxury media group.
Luxury-Insider.com was first launched in 2006 by Julian Peh, CEO of WWMG, as Asia’s first wholly digital luxury publication.
Since its launch, it has steadily built on its pioneering position in online luxury publishing to expand its reach regionally and establish its current position as one of Asia’s largest websites targeting affluent audiences.
Luxury-Insider.com won double honours in 2013 when it was voted the No 1 Luxury Website by marketers in both Singapore and Hong Kong in Marketing Magazine’s Digital Media of the Year Awards. Luxury-Insider.com is ranked among Singapore’s top online magazines according to recent media reports, and it enjoys a leading market share in digital advertising among major global luxury brands.
